2007年10月被联合国教科文组织授予“人类贡献奖文化艺术类美术金奖”、“中国非物质文化遗产功勋人物”称号。选入中国艺术研究院《文艺年志》中。

2023年被中国文联授予《中国功勋艺术家荣誉称号》，并在功勋艺术家官网展示。5幅作品入选由联合国经济和社会部NGO一中法文化交流促进中心主办的2024法国巴黎奥运文化国际艺术交流展获得金奖。多幅代表作品入编由人美出版社编辑出版的《中国近现代名家典藏画集•综合卷》。入编人民美术出版社出版的《中国书画百年史·百位名家》画集。中国中央电视台编辑，中国文化出版社出版的《艺术传承人物著名书画家常世福》个人专辑。

Chang Shifu, pen name Changzhen. Born in 1961, he is from Longxi, Gansu Province. He is a senior high school art teacher with a bachelor’s degree. He is currently a member of the (International) China Artists Association and the Gansu Artists Association. He is an honorary council member of Beijing Yihai Danqing Calligraphy and Painting Academy, an invited creative committee member of the Cultural Research Center of the Ministry of Culture, a member of the China Education Television Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of the New Artistic Group Calligraphy and Painting Committee of the China Artists Association, an honorary curator of the National Art Committee Calligraphy and Painting Museum, and was awarded the bronze plaque "National Gift Art Master Chang Shifu Studio" by the Starlight Film and Television Park International Brand Federation of CCTV. Chang Shifu was selected as one of the 2016 China’s Best Brands* Brand Influence Calligraphers and Painters. He is one of the 30 influential figures in the contemporary art world, specializing in freehand figure painting. His works emphasize momentum, value spiritual charm, and follow nature, pursuing the essence of poetry, calligraphy, and painting, with profound artistic conception, robust momentum, and bold characteristics. His works have won gold, silver, and bronze awards in national exhibitions and competitions.

In October 2007, he was awarded the "Gold Medal for Art in the Category of Human Contribution" and the title of "China’s Meritorious Figure in Intangible Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO. He was also selected for the "Literary and Artistic Yearbook" of the Chinese Academy of Art.

CCTV-2’s appraiser magazine recommended him in the May 2012 issue of Contemporary Masters. His portraits and works were included in national thematic stamps and the China-themed postcard album celebrating the 65th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, with 12 sets of stamps issued nationwide. His works were also featured in dozens of authoritative publications, including the "China Contemporary Art Masters Directory,"  "World Celebrity Directory,"  "Art Masters and Masterpieces,"  "The Great Renaissance" edited by the Ministry of Culture’s Cultural and Artistic Talent Center, and the 2015 Chinese Art Annual of Chinese Art. His representative works were exhibited in events such as the "China Contemporary Most Influential Calligraphy and Painting Masters Exhibition" and "Meet the Contemporary Masters of Calligraphy and Painting," and were widely broadcast by authoritative online media including People’s Daily Online, Xinhua News Agency, China Charm Network, Morning News Network, Phoenix News, China Culture Network, China Enterprise Report, Baidu, Google, and many others. He published a personal painting collection titled "China Art Master Chang Shifu." CCTV awarded him the titles of "China Art Role Model" and "Great Nation, Great Master," and his works were included in large-scale documentary compilations. The "China Authoritative Collection Book"  "China Art Soft Gold" featured a personal album edited by authoritative institutions such as Artron Art Network.

In 2023, he was awarded the title of "China Meritorious Artist" by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and featured on the official website of Meritorious Artists. Five of his works were selected for the 2024 Paris Olympic Cultural International Art Exchange Exhibition hosted by the NGO Sino-French Cultural Exchange Promotion Center under the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, where they won the gold medal. Several representative works were included in the "China Modern and Contemporary Masters Collection • Comprehensive Volume" edited and published by People’s Fine Arts Publishing House. His works were also featured in the "A Century of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting: A Hundred Masters" album published by People’s Fine Arts Publishing House. Additionally, he was featured in the personal album "Artistic Heritage: The Renowned Painter and Calligrapher Chang Shifu," edited by China Central Television and published by China Culture Publishing House.
